TUBSH - The Ultimate Big Spool Holder

Currently I am working on a enclosure for my Creality Ender-3 Pro 3D printer. This is just one piece that I am working on. More on the enclosure to come. I had also ordered a 10lb spool from Matter Hackers. I did not anticipate how big the spool would be compared to a standard 1kg spool.

In searching for spool holder for the enclosure, I had found TUSH (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554) for a standard spool. But the big spool has a wider spool end so this design would not work. I thought that I would figure out how to import that file into Fusion 360 to make the changes I needed. After some Googling I was able to make it all work. But working with the mesh file and all of the triangles were a bit tedious but I made it work. Here are the changes I made to the file.

Extended the spindle length.

Extended the foot.

Added re-enforcement for the spindle.

All in all I am very happy with how it turned out. In the process I learned more about 3D modeling.

PS In the photos you will see that it is red and white. That is simple because I was using up old red filament. The all red one is the TUSH next to my TUBSH.
